Delivery Information

Whether the flowers or plants are intended for weekly office decor, a wedding, birthdays, holidays, or other special occasions, Horticultural Creations has you covered. We know it is not always possible to be there to deliver your gift in person. That is why we offer convenient delivery of all of our products.

Local Delivery
Horticultural Creations serves the following local areas for flower and gift basket delivery:

Manhattan, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, Dumbo, Navy Yard, Columbia Waterfront, Red Hook, Williamsburg, Park Slope, Crown Heights, Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, Greenpoint, Clinton Heights, Sunset Park, Windsor Terrace, Kensington, Bay Ridge, and Long Island City.

To arrange local delivery, please call or e-mail us, or place your secure order online. We offer same day delivery on all orders placed before 12:00 PM EST. Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST will be delivered the following day. We encourage you to order holiday arrangements in advance to avoid delays during the busy season and to ensure delivery before the holidays. We cannot guarantee same day delivery on holidays. We make deliveries on on Saturday and Sundays.

Non-Local and Interstate Delivery
We encourage you to contact us for non-local and interstate deliveries. The orders out of our local delivery area will be fulfilled by our affiliate florists. Please, allow 24-48 hours to process, prepare, and deliver non-local and interstate orders.

International Delivery
Horticultural Creations provides international delivery in compliance with the regulations of your destination country. To discuss an international delivery order, please contact us directly at (212) 925-5200 or email us at Jake@hcinc.org. Direct contact is necessary to ensure the accuracy of the order and international delivery information, as well as to discuss the specific rules and regulations of your destination country to ensure the proper products can be delivered to your satisfaction. Online orders are not accepted for international delivery. International shipping charges will apply.

Availability of flowers, plants, vases and any other items may vary, depending on the season, stock, geographic area, etc. If a specific item is unavailable, we will make every attempt to obtain the item or to match it as closely as possible. Substitutions of equal or greater value may occur.

Substitutions
Horticultural Creations operates on an automatic “substitutions allowed” policy due to the seasonal availability of flowers and plants. We strive to match all orders as closely as possible, but when flowers, plants, containers, and other items are unavailable, substitutions of equal or greater value will be made. This means that although the item received may be similar to the original order, it may not be identical.

Cancellations
All order cancellations must take place prior to delivery. Once delivered, no refunds for cancellation will be issued. Cancellations will not be accepted because a customer provides incorrect delivery information. In this case, the customer may obtain corrected information, providing this information to Horticultural Creations for proper delivery.

Fraud
In accordance with our Privacy Policy, Horticultural Creations reviews each order carefully, comparing the information provided with direct bank account or credit card issuer information, when applicable. In any instance where we feel an order is questionable and/or fraudulent, we will attempt to contact the ordering party to determine if the information provided was in error or is truly an act of fraud. We reserve the right to reject any order of this nature.

Return & Refund Policy
Horticultural Creations strives to provide excellent customer service. It is our belief that a satisfied customer equals success. Therefore, we understand your concerns about security and proper fulfillment of any order placed online or via telephone. The following statement discloses our Return and Refund Policy.

Non-Delivery
If you place an order and claim it was not delivered to the recipient, please allow us 24-48 hours for a complete investigation into the matter. In many cases, it is a simple matter that delivery was attempted and no one was available at the home or office to accept delivery and no neighbors or other parties were able to take delivery on the recipient’s behalf. If this is the case, Horticultural Creations reserves the right to attempt redelivery of your order. On the rare occasion that we discover no delivery attempt was made, we will provide you with a full refund. If we are unable to substantiate your claim, we reserve the right to reject that claim.

Rejected Delivery
If you place an order and the recipient rejects delivery, whatever the reason, Horticultural Creations will not provide a refund and cannot be held liable for the recipient’s decision.

Quality
If a delivery is made, and there is any question as to the quality of the flowers, plants, gift basket, or fruit basket, the recipient should contact Horticultural Creations to discuss the matter. In most cases, we will gladly replace the arrangement. However, claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery and photos provided. No refunds or replacements will be made after this period. Nor will refunds or replacements be made based on improper plant or flower care on the part of the recipient.
